Where we work

The Maria Linda is the most polluting river on the west coast of the Americas.

Over 3.2 million pounds of plastic enter the Pacific every year from the Maria Linda and the nearby Achiguate. Tidey Ocean operates collection hubs along their banks, paying local crews to recover plastic before it reaches the gyre.

That focus is intentional. The plastic ocean crisis isn't solved by cleaning the open ocean. It's solved by closing the source rivers that feed it.
